All is gone...

As of 02Apr2010, all my fishes have dieded... i guess that's the end of my fishy hobby... was a interesting memory though... too bad i wasn't very successful..

More fishes die...

More fishes die... sigh... 2 white clouds followed by 1 more tetra... 1 of the white cloud which died doesn't look sick... maybe it is to accompany its friend which died... some more that white cloud is the longest surviving fish in the tank.. sigh... the tetra that died looked quite sick with bloodshot skin... worst of all, the fishes are not eating the food... dunno why... i even scrubbed the walls of the tank... hmm... hope that they start to eat food properly... if not, i'll have to change the food...

2 tetras died last weekend..

As the title says, 2 tetras died last weekend.. one after another... not too sure what the reason is though they seem to eat less food nowadays.. maybe the water is getting dirtier... must take better care of them...

My fish tank is ALIVE again!

Bought 8 little neon tetra yesterday and now my boring fish tank with 2 white cloud is beaming with life! Hopefully the new tetras live well in the new environment... oh.. and earlier, few months ago, one of the white clouds died so i have 2 white clouds now, 1 from the earlier batch and 1 from the later batch.. the remaining 1 from the later batch has been suffering from a disease that cause it to be hunchback.. on the good side, it has managed to survive so long without any problem so i decide not to isolate it... hopefully all the fishes live well together... :)

1 new white cloud died... 3 left...

As the title says... 1 new white cloud died... not sure why and how it died... maybe couldn't get use to the new environment... sadly, this is only the sixth day in my tank... hopefully the others will survive longer...

Bought 3 new White Clouds

On 11Aug09, the last one to make it is the white cloud, all the other fishes died... i told myself earlier, i will buy more of the same type of fish to see if they can live well together and maybe survive longer... so... today (14Aug09), i bought 3 new white clouds... hopefully they all live happily together...

Something's wrong...

Something's wrong with my fish tank... 6 tetras have died over 3 days... had quite a good streak before that... think ultimately, the best way to keep the fishes alive is to cause minimal change to the tank... prior to that... when i increase the food supply, some die, then i decrease, then some die, then i put in some chemicals to improve the quality of water, somehow the next day, i saw clumps of mould like things appearing all over the tank on top of the sand... and more die... so I decided i'll do a major change... i removed all the sand, removed the plant, cleaned up the tank... after that 1 of the sick looking fish died, but on the good side, the remaining 5 looks ok... hopefully they'll remain well this way...
